Description
Optimized reactor for the recovery of phosphorus as struvite by crystallization in WWTP from the supernatants obtained in the sludge treatment line. The novel elements are structural elements. The reactor comprises a cylindrical reaction zone, located between a truncated conical sedimentation zone and a discharge zone located at the lower end of the reactor; a cylindrical effluent outlet zone, located at the upper end; electrical drive devices and fluid conveyor and dosing devices; an agitation device; Dosing tubes separated from each other and passing through the reaction zone into and the center of the reactor allowing the introduction of feed fluids and reactive substances into the reactor.
