Description

The process enhances sustainable water treatment at ambient temperature. It comprises continuously feeding an anaerobic reactor with sieved wastewater and organic waste, which undergo anaerobic digestion, obtaining a treated mixture and biogas. The reactor is coupled to a gasified filtration membrane and gas is recirculated. With the method and the installation described an improvement of the chemical and energy efficiency has been achieved as well as a reduction of sludge and gaining process stability.
